On October 5, the Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Solidarity, Agnès Maltais, announced the establishment of a support project to assist employees affected by the closure of Aveos and are always in search of work.
This project is in collaboration with Emploi Quebec counselors, representatives of Local 1751 and a consulting firm.
At first, Emploi-Québec wishes to portray the situation of ex-workers of the company Aveos to know the current situation and identify their needs to help former workers unemployed to integrate as soon as possible labor market. The project will be explained during the meetings scheduled in our local lodge office Monday october 29 at 09h00 and Thursday november 1st at 14h00 and an evening session at 18h00.
